Windows Security Settings: Event Log
This area of Security Settings allows you to control the size and retention settings of the 3 main event logs: Application, System and of course security.
The security log settings can be viewed by going to Event Viewer, click on the Security Log. In the Action tab, click on properties. From here the log location, size and retention method can be adjusted. An administrator can also clear the event log from this screen.
