Change the system time
AKA: SeSystemtimePrivilege, Change the system time
Default assignment on workstations and member servers: Administrators, Power Users
Default assignment on domain controllers: Administrators, Server Operators
Allows you to change the time and date of the computer’s internal clock. This is an important right since it would allow you to change the date and time associated with records in the event logs, database transactions and the file system to name just a few. This right is required by the process that performs time synchronization. The LocalService account will normally need this right on Windows Server 2003 to support time synchronization.
The default assignments are reasonably secure for this right.
