Windows Security PowerPack

Requirements

The PowerPack requires the .NET framework, PowerShell, some free cmdlets from Quest for accessing AD and of course PowerGUI.  Everything is free!

Here's the sequence and download links:

  1. Operating System: Any x86 and x64 versions of Windows XP SP2, Windows Server 2003-sp2, Windows Vista, Windows Vista-SP1, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008
  2. .NET framework 3.5
  3. PowerShell 2.0
  4. Quest Active Directory cmdlets
  5. PowerGUI 2.0
  6. Windows Security Power Pack
    1. Open PowerGUI Admin Console.
    2. In the file menu, select PowerPack Management.
    3. In the PowerPack management dialog, click on Import and browse to the PowerPack file you just downloaded.

Now you're in business!
