Tools for Security, Auditing and More

These are tools that I've developed or helped design to fill various gaps in the Microsoft security environment

  • ResetADSACLS - The default object level audit policy in Windows 2003 Active Directory is broken. ResetADSACLS wipes out the default, static audit policy and re-enables audit policy inheritance from the root of the domain down.
  • LOGbinder SP - SharePoint has an audit log but it's just a foundation technology unlocked by LOGbinder SP
  • PowerGUI PowerPack for Windows Security - A project with Quest Software to produce a new PowerShell based PowerGUI PowerPack of tools to provide the missing reports in Active Directory required by auditors. If you manage or audit AD, this is a tool for you!
  • KillBit administrative template - Automatically set the kill bit on vulnerable ActiveX controls
