Microsoft Security Bulletin MS06-074 - Vulnerability in SNMP Could Allow Remote Code Execution (926247)

This bulletin covers a buffer overflow, remote code vulnerability in the SNMP service of all versions of Windows prior to Vista. Note that SNMP is not installed by default and that there are easy workarounds for this vulnerability including setting a group policy that disables the SNMP service or setting an IP filter that restricts incoming SNMP packets to appropriate senders.
