Microsoft Security Bulletin MS06-064 - Vulnerabilities in TCP/IP IPv6 Could Allow Denial of Service (922819)

This patch addresses 3 denial of service vulnerabilities in XP and 2003 limited to IPv6.  IPv4 in XP and 2003 is not affected nor is Windows 2000 impacted at all.  Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities could cause a system to drop TCP connections, stop responding or restart.  All 3 exploits are publicly detailed but there are no reports of actual attacks.  I recommend installing this update on Internet facing servers such as email, VPN and web servers after testing or upon being targeted according to your availability requirements.
